About the Farm

The History
A Cherished Part of the Holmdel Community
Oak Hill Farm has long been a special part of the Holmdel community — a place where nature, agriculture, and family traditions come together.

For many years, Carla and Richard Bushey and their family lovingly cared for the property, creating a farm that welcomed visitors and celebrated the beauty of the land. Their dedication and passion helped make Oak Hill Farm a meaningful place for so many families.

As the next stewards of the farm, our goal is to honor the legacy the Bushey family created and continue the spirit that has made Oak Hill Farm so special.
The New Chapter
The Next Chapter of Oak Hill Farm
When Gabriella, Franco, and his daughter Sofia discovered the opportunity to become part of Oak Hill Farm’s story, they immediately felt a deep connection to the property and its importance to the Holmdel community.
The farm’s charm, history, and role in bringing families together made it clear that this was something worth preserving and nurturing for future generations.

Memories Together
A Love for Animals and Nature
Franco and Sofia share a deep love for animals and the outdoors. Sofia has always had a special connection with animals, and the idea of being surrounded by them on a farm quickly became something very meaningful to her.
That passion helped inspire the vision of keeping Oak Hill Farm a place where families and children can experience the joy of farm life — visiting animals, spending time outdoors, and creating memories together.
Bringing Hospitality
Hospitality & Community
For Gabriella, the farm holds a personal connection. Having grown up in Holmdel, she has always felt a strong bond with the town and the community that shaped her.
After building her career in hospitality and becoming an owner of Gabriella’s Italian Steakhouse in Middletown, she developed a passion for creating spaces where people can gather and feel at home.
Oak Hill Farm is a natural extension of that philosophy — bringing together hospitality, nature, and community.

Community to Enjoy
Preserving the Farm
Although Franco is known professionally as a real estate developer, his vision for Oak Hill Farm is not redevelopment — it is preservation.
He believes places like Oak Hill Farm are rare and should be protected for the community to enjoy.
His goal is to maintain the farm’s character and charm while ensuring it continues to be a place where families, children, and neighbors can experience farm life.
Joy of Farm Life
Looking Ahead
Looking ahead, the vision is to preserve the heart of Oak Hill Farm while thoughtfully expanding its offerings.
Oak Hill Farm will remain rooted in tradition, family, and community — honoring its past while creating a future where visitors can gather and experience the beauty and joy of farm life.
